Broken Bow is known for its beautiful trails and scenery so going for a hike is top on the list of things to do. There are countless trails to choose from such as Friends Trail, Cedar Creek, and Skyline Trail, you are sure to find one that's just right for you. Both of our cabins at Candy Cabins of Broken Bow, Candy Kiss, and Eye Candy, are located within minutes of Beavers Bend State Park, the lake, and many of the trails located in the area.

Visit a winery: The area around Broken Bow has several wineries that offer tastings, tours, and beautiful views. Girls Gone Wine and Fish Tales are 2 of our favorites and are only minutes away from either of our cabins.

Rent a boat or kayak: Broken Bow Lake is a great spot for water activities. You can rent a boat, kayak or paddleboard and spend the day on the lake. Lake days can make the best days:). We offer our guests a coupon code for a discount at Beavers Bend Marina so be sure to ask for that on your trip to the area.

Go on a scenic drive: Take a scenic drive through the Ouachita National Forest and enjoy the beautiful scenery, keep an eye out for the wildlife that are abundant in this part of Oklahoma.

Take a helicopter ride: See the area from a new perspective with a helicopter ride over Broken Bow Lake, this an amazing experience.

Visit the local breweries: Broken Bow has several local breweries such as Beavers Bend Brewery and Mountain Fork Brewery, where you can enjoy a cold beer and live music.

Go horseback riding: There are several stables in the area where you can rent horses and go on a trail ride to see some of the off-the-beaten path views. One of our very favorites is Riverman Trail Rides (be sure to make a reservation ahead of time!)

Enjoy a candlelit dinner: Book a romantic dinner at a local restaurant such as Abendigo's Grill & Patio or enjoy an evening in at the cabin. Candy Kiss and Eye Candy both have a fully stocked kitchen so you can cook a meal together, or have a chef come to the cabin and prepare a special meal just for the two of you.
